Cebu Shalom Christian Center

is a child and family welfare  Christian church based ministry. It is a non stock non profit organization duly registered and license to operate by the government. thru Securities Exchange Commission , Department of Social Welfare & Development and accredited by the City Council of Lapu-lapu City.

It is located in Babag 1 Lapu-lapu City, southern part of Mactan Island 15 minutes drive from Mactan International Airport.  

It ministers to the whole Mactan Island that comprises 29 villages including the town of Cordova with an approximate population of 320,000. In the past ten years, this island city of Mactan (Lapu-lapu) has grown in leaps and bounds due to its accessibility from other major cities and the surrounding provinces by air and sea travel. This island city is proud to be one of the tourist destinations in the Philippines. However, as with other developing cities, there is always a hidden reality of people’s living conditions. Only a small percent benefited from the commercial and economic boom, while a large part of the population has a very low income.

This is where Cebu Shalom Family Ministries is ministering, where the majority of needy children exist. Some children must beg around for food, garbage scavenging, others endured hard labor working in stone craft factories, cartoon recycling or in pyrotechnic  factories and, all with low income.

Cebu Shalom also believe that man has a spiritual need that needs to be meet  with the Word of God in order for him to be reconciled back to God. The ministry provides spiritual counseling, marriage enhancement, leadership training, prayer and faith building training through it’s weekly worship services and cell group gatherings.
